- A complimentary jaw x-ray may be taken to further evaluate your dental status
Important Information About Our Free Consultations
Comprehensive Examination Required Before Treatment
While we’re happy to provide guidance during your free consultation, no procedures can be performed prior to completing a comprehensive examination. This ensures we have a full understanding of your oral health and can provide the safest and most effective care.
A comprehensive examination includes a detailed evaluation of your oral health and dental radiographs (X-rays). If you’ve already completed a comprehensive examination at another dental practice, we can proceed as long as your primary dental provider forwards proof of the examination and the necessary radiographs to our clinic. This may be done if your pursing jus the one treatment from our clinic, e.g. Clear aligners, implants, etc
If you are looking to establish all continued care at this clinic, such as dental cleanings, dental fillings, crowns, etc., we will want to perform a comprehensive exam ourselves. Comprehensive exams are NOT FREE.
Extractions and Complex Cases
If your treatment plan involves extractions or if the case discussed during the consultation is complex, a comprehensive examination by one of our providers at Parkside Dental may still be required. In such cases, a definitive answer may not be possible during the consultation alone.
Conversion of Consultation to Comprehensive Examination
In some instances, your free consultation may need to be converted into a comprehensive examination to provide you with a detailed diagnosis and treatment plan. This will only occur with your explicit permission and will be discussed in advance.
