Clear Aligner Orthodontics
Our custom and comfortable in-house clear aligners can gradually align your teeth so they are easier to clean and less susceptible to wear-and-tear. But what makes our aligners better than Invisalign?
Our aligners are designed by our very own family dentist, Dr. Alex Broesder, and fabricated 100% in-house. This means you can expect a faster turnaround time and superior quality compared to alternatives!
This is where we differ from Invisalign, Invisalign outsources design and manufacturing outside of the United States, which means longer wait times. On top of that, tooth movements are designed by someone that has never had any formal dental training!
F.A.Qs
Clear aligners are an orthodontic treatment that serves the same purpose as traditional braces. Rather than using brackets, wires, and bands, clear aligners utilize custom devices that fit over your teeth and place pressure at different points to shift and straighten them over time. You can use clear aligners to treat:
- Overbite
- Underbite
- Crossbite
- Open bite
- Crowded teeth
- Wide gaps
At Parkside Dental, every treatment is individualized to accommodate your specific needs. The team uses digital design in the office to map the movements of your teeth and create your custom aligners.
Every case is different, but the team can evaluate you to decide if clear aligners are the best orthodontic option for you. Compared to braces, there are several advantages to consider.
Clear aligners at Parkside Dental offer many benefits, including:
- A discreet orthodontic treatment
- 100% in-house production
- Faster treatment times than braces*
- More affordable option
- Precise digital treatment planning
- Can be removed to eat or clean your teeth
- Can eat or drink without dietary restrictions
- Custom-designed by your dentist
Treatment times with clear aligners vary based on your starting point and desired results. In any case, you can speed up your treatment by following the team’s detailed instructions for using and caring for your aligners.
You must wear your aligners for at least 20 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink, or brush your teeth. You should also clean your aligners as you would your normal teeth and keep them in a safe place where you won’t forget them or accidentally throw them away.
You’ll wear each aligner for 1-2 weeks before progressing to the next set and repeat this process until you’ve completed treatment. To stay on track, you should attend your follow-up appointments at Parkside Dental and let the team know if anything happens to your aligners.
